Hey guys it's been quite a while since I've been on this here web site so i decided to throw a video up of a swirl i already put up but in this video i show how i transformed an Ibanez RG370 into a "Wanna-be Ibanez Jem". I hope you enjoy. I'm now starting to mess around with the carageenan method but I've still got some kinks to work out but as soon as i do i will be posting more vids.

Hey bro!

Great vid! I am working on the same project! Mine was a bit harder, cause I had front route RG. I have also made look-like prestige neck, looks nice. Still have to make lion's claw... I will post pics when I finish everything.

I have one question for you. In one part of your video, you said that colors are faded... The same thing happens to me. I tried GMC style, green and black, and black is always more grey then black. Should I add more black to the mix or what?

Thanks man,

Vlade

About Me

My name is Tony and I am a Web Developer by trade, I created this site after I recieved huge numbers of emails about my GMC swirl YouTube video on how to swirl a guitar to look like a Steve Vai Ibanez Jem.

I have been a fan of swirled guitars since seeing the first GMC in the Ibanez brochure, unfortunatly I could never afford one so went about figuring out how it was done. When I started swirling I was living in Guernsey and I bought a mahogany Jem body which is the one in the first GMC video.
